Hello, I am Santa Trey and I'm the Santa on a Scooter in Lafayette, La. I ride my 2 wheel electric vehicle around town dressed as Santa spreading holiday cheer & giving people a free Santa to take pics with. I also raise money for homeless families via Tips and GoFundMe then I take all that money and go to Wally World and buy gifts personally then deliver them as Santa on Christmas Eve.
On December 23,2021 I was struck by a vehicle at 70mph on my bicycle on hwy 182 in a Hit and Run in which I was slammed into an hydraulic oil barrel, I fell down and my phone flew out of my bike across the road to the shoulder. As I lay on the side of the road all mangled up I remember saying a prayer and asking Jesus if he could please send me an Angel to help me get across the road to get my phone and call for help and if I make it out of this alive will you please bless me with enough money to start my own business so I could continue to do God's work & in that moment I had an Angel come down and help me get my phone to call for help and the Broussard Police and Fire Department along with Acadian Ambulance rescued me. I ended up breaking my left arm in half with 5 fractures around the elbow & broke my foot in 12 places. I now have a #14 plate with 11 screws in my arm and a screw in my navicular in my foot. After it was all said and done the little settlement I got I used to start what is now Santa on a Mower LLC operating under Santa on a Mower.
